Data Protection NoticeWe automatically collect information about your visit to our site. This information, together with your personal details, is required to establish authorised access to areas within this site and is used to make our site run more efficiently and to facilitate the future development of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at www.studiocambridge.co.uk. Your participation within your course(s) is recorded and stored within the VLE for the duration of the academic year for the purposes of record keeping and assessment where appropriate.
Your personal details will be processed and held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and are not shared with any third party. At the end of the academic year all information will be stored in an archive copy of the site for a further 6 years before being deleted. A summary of anonymous detail may be retained for statistical purposes. You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you at any time (for which we may charge an administrative fee).
Studio Cambridge collects data, operates and is registered, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation in the UK and has taken measures to secure collected data. This site, the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and the material within it, is provided by Studio Cambridge to support the private study of registered students and to facilitate and support the teaching of authorised tutors. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, transmit, sell, modify, display, exploit or create derivative works from, any part of this VLE or any material within it without written permission.
All students and tutors posting material within this VLE will be held responsible for their own postings. You should not break any copyright regulations nor submit any illegal, defamatory or offensive material. Studio Cambridge reserves the right to immediately remove any material that contravenes these terms and conditions. Contributions to Discussion Forums are the intellectual property of the contributor and should be acknowledged wherever quoted or referred to by other course participants.
